- Account activation: $20 one-time (non-refundable, required before publishing)
- Annual maintenance: $12 a year (only for accounts earning under $100 a year with titles in distribution; waived the first year)
About 10% of retail price kept as commission. Ebooks: roughly 60% of list price at most stores (Amazon 60%/30%, Smashwords store 75%/40%, library sales 46%); D2D Print: about 45% of list price minus printing.
