Everything on BookBird is free. There is no account, no subscription and nothing to buy on this site.

Tools and Estimates

The calculators give estimates based on the rules and figures each tool describes on its own page, such as Amazon KDP's published printing costs and royalty rates. Amazon and other platforms change their rules, and your own results can differ. Check important numbers against the platform you publish on before you rely on them.

Templates

You may use the free KDP interior templates in books you publish, including books you sell. You may not resell or redistribute the template files themselves, alone or as part of a template collection.

Guides

Guides are general information about writing and self-publishing, not legal, tax or financial advice. Text and images on the site may not be republished without permission; short quotations with a link back are fine.
